Hayfever Treatment

Hayfever is an allergic reaction response by your immune system, to things such as pollen.

Our Hayfever treatment involves an intramuscular administration of a mild corticosteroid in the upper leg or buttock, which will start to work after a few days and clears hayfever symptoms by an average of six to twelve weeks by reducing your immune system's allergic response to pollens.

However not everyone can have it. It will not be suitable for you if you are under 18 years old, if you are pregnant/breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant within the next 6 months, or if you have any of the following conditions: a current infection that you are on antibiotics for, glaucoma, recent or upcoming surgery, diabetes, epilepsy, a recent heart attack, ocular herpes simplex, if you have a suppressed immune system or have a condition where a suppressed immune system may be undesirable e.g. tuberculosis or cancer chemotherapy. Any live vaccines should be given at least 4 weeks before or 12 weeks afterwards.

If you would like to check whether this would be suitable for you, or if you would like to book in, please contact us.

This is priced at £99.
